VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL IS COMING TO LIVING WATER!

Monday, June 21 through Friday, June 25

9am until 12noon

December 20 - Regular Sunday School and practice for Christmas Eve.

December 24 - Sunday School Children sing at 4:30pm Christmas Eve Service. Please arrive by 3:45 pm to practice.

December 27 - No Sunday School.

January 3 - Ride the Phoenix Light Rail. Sign up in the narthex.
Meet at the church at 9:30am to car pool. We will return to the church around noon.

Sunday School Advent Fair

THANK YOU TO THE SUNDAY SCHOOL ADVENT FAIR VOLUNTEERS!

A huge thank you to the volunteers that made the Advent Fair a huge success.

We spent about five hours on Saturday setting up the event with help from Miles McGaugh, Zoey Crow, Morgan Harlan, Lauren Harlan and Tana Harlan. (Miles gets the most valuable player award for his hours of work with a hot glue gun!)

On Sunday our volunteers included Zoey Crow, Timmy Moore, Jillian Moore, Janice Moore, Chad Decker, Morgan Harlan, Lauren Harlan, Tana Harlan and Gia Bottiglione.

Thank you also, to the parents that accompanied their children through the six stations of the Fair.

We look forward to planning the Third Annual Advent Fair for 2010!

who is the Church Sponsorship Developer at Lutheran Social Services/Southwest,

(this is the organization that is responsible for the settlement of the refugee families that we have sponsored in the past)

will answer the questions: Where do these people come from? What does a church sponsor do?
